The Ashley Family Foundation (formerly The Laura Ashley Foundation) continues to award grants to projects that fit with the family ethos of protecting rural communities and encouraging participation in the arts.
As a guide The Foundation, for the past few years, has had a policy of giving half our funds to Welsh projects.
We are keen to fund good small scale arts and community projects in England and Wales and welcome proposals from community museums, organisations, farms and gardens for funding for arts subjects. The Trustees would welcome applications for their next meeting which provide good quality music education for secondary school students.
Our current policy is to favour revenue proposals over capital requests.
Final decision remains at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
If you wish to submit a proposal please take a look at ‘How to Apply’ and contact us to talk through your project.
Due to the economic downturn we are receiving an unprecedented increase in requests. We are therefore not able to provide feedback, but will notify all applicants of the outcome of their applications by email, following the meeting in which it has been considered.
