New Strategy for 2024/2025 - SUPPORTING ARTS, CRAFTS AND THE ENVIRONMENT IN WALES FOR A MORE CREATIVE, CONNECTED AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.

We are proud to announce our new strategy which will be reflected in our grant making from our November 2024 grant round and thereafter. The changes in direction have been informed by the Grandchildren of Bernard and Laura Ashley and the needs of the Welsh communities we serve. The main changes to the funding are:

Wales-only applications - our grant applications are only open to organisations working in Wales, or in support of Welsh people studying arts or environmental sustainability in England. As always, we are very supportive of rural Welsh areas where communities often lack access to quality arts or community support.

Environmental Sustainability - we are focusing on work that also seeks to improve our environment and sustainability now, and for our future generations.

Crafts - we are very interested in supporting heritage crafts which are at risk, but also contemporary craft makers and educators.

For more information on our changes, please see our How to Apply page for more details.

Our online application form is now available in Welsh! As always, we invite you to speak to our partners at Community Foundation in Wales if you would like to discuss your application in Welsh. Please see our How to Apply page for contact details.

Look out for our new toggle button to read this website in Welsh - coming soon!
