Heritage Crafts Association

The Heritage Crafts Association are the national charity set up to celebrate, support and safeguard traditional craft skills, and to facilitate a national conversation about their importance to everyone now and in the future.
The bursary fund was set up to help practitioners of the UK’s most at-risk craft skills to overcome the immediate obstacles they are facing to run viable crafts businesses. The Ashley Family Foundation scholar in 2023 was Stephanie Turnbull from Newport. Stephanie trialled the use of alternative types of limestone and other stone substrates for lithographic printing, with a view to publish her research, as part of HCA’s Endangered Crafts Fund.
