The Welsh Group is an artists' collective, with the purpose of exhibiting and "giving a voice" to the visual arts in Wales. One of the missions of the Welsh Group is to make art accessible and approachable and to promote an understanding of visual art and how that relates to issues around nature and climate change.

The project mounted a major exhibition at the Mid Wales Arts Centre during the summer of work that is about and around climate change, called ‘Celf Gwyrdd’.  It included a series of artist engagement events led by pairs of artists.
