The Ashley Family Foundation Board meeting March 2022

In March 2022, Jane Ashley (seen above in the centre of the picture) stepped down from her role as Trustee after 26 years of stewarding the Ashley Family Foundation.

Jane had served as the head of the Family Trustees since 1996 and most notably as Director of the Foundation until 2020. Jane’s considerable contribution to the growth and culture of the Foundation has been undeniable, and her passion and commitment to the many beneficiaries over the years has been inspirational to all her fellow Trustees.

Jane leaves the Foundation in the very capable hands of her sister, Emma Shuckburgh as Director for Wales; her cousin Julian Ashley as Director for England; and her son Alexis Ashley Korner, Head of the Cefndryd grant group, who are the next generation of family members.

The Family Trustees are supported by our skilled independent Trustees, headed up by the Chair of Trustees, Anita George. Look out for our Trustee recruitment this Spring as we hope to welcome new independent Trustees to our Board to reflect our interests in Wales and Community support.
