Ashley Family Foundation Scholar, Beth Griffiths, wins prestigious award

Bethan Griffiths, a recipient of the Ashley Family Foundation scholarship at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2017, has won a prestigious award for her music.

Bethan is an award winning harpist based in North Wales and London. She gained a First Class Honours Degree from the Royal College of Music in 2017, studying with internationally renowned harpist Ieuan Jones. She returned to the RCM for postgraduate studies as an Ashley Family Foundation Scholar and recently graduated with a Master of Performance with Distinction.

She was also asked to perform for HRH The Prince of Wales during his annual President's visit to the Royal College of Music on 3 March 2020, where she was awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother Rose Bowl award.
